The Lane PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a local unit of the larger National PTA and Oregon PTA that supports Lane Middle School in Portland, Oregon. The PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. PTA is the nation's oldest and largest child advocacy association.

The Lane PTA is for everyone who has an interest in supporting our school!

Parents, caregivers, families, teachers, staff, students, grandparents, neighbors, friends, community members, business owners. The PTA invites all to join! Our diverse and unique backgrounds, knowledge, experience, creativity, and ideas will enhance our school and community.


Lane PTA Membership dues are $10 and memberships run from October 1st through September 30th of the following year. Scholarships are available. PTA Members get to vote on and have input on how PTA money is spent. Anyone can attend PTA meetings and events, but only members can vote. 

The Lane PTA is made up of board members elected by PTA members. 

Meetings are held virtually on the first Monday of each month at 6:30pm.
